Air conditioning and ventilation for apartments

In an apartment every solution has to be quiet, tidy and compatible with the building's rules. We select MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC wall-mounted heat pumps and multi-split systems that cool in summer and heat in spring and autumn, plus ductless mini ventilation units for fresh air in renovated or new-build flats. We plan indoor and outdoor unit locations, pipe routes and condensate drainage in advance so the result looks neat.

Challenges

An overheated flat in summer

South-facing and top-floor flats overheat in summer and sleep suffers. A quiet heat pump keeps the set temperature at night too.

Humidity and stuffiness after renovation

After new windows and insulation, natural ventilation weakens – moisture builds up and windows mist. A mini ventilation unit supplies fresh air without ducts.

Limited space for the outdoor unit

The façade, balcony and neighbours limit the options. For several rooms we can offer a single multi-split outdoor unit.

Noise and unsightly pipework

A badly installed unit can spoil the interior and disturb rest. We choose quiet models and plan the routes carefully.

FAQ

Do I need consent from neighbours or the association?

It depends on the building's management rules and façade requirements. We recommend checking in advance – we will help choose the least visible outdoor unit position.

Can a wall-mounted heat pump heat the flat?

Yes, it can supplement district heating in shoulder seasons or serve as the main heating if the flat's conditions allow. We choose the model for the room and need.

Why is a mini ventilation unit better than an open window?

It supplies fresh air continuously and in a controlled way, recovering part of the heat, filtering the air and without draughts.
